Privacy Policy

This policy covers pirenage.me and the Pirenage apps for Android and macOS (together, "Pirenage"), run by Gamaliel Ertha Pirena Oktavianto. Pirenage is a personal productivity app: focus timer, finance, tasks and schedule, and notes.

Data we store

  • Account: your name, email address and a hashed password.
  • Content you create: focus sessions and tags, transactions, tasks, calendar events, reminders and notes.
  • Devices: a push notification token and device name for each signed-in phone, so a timer started on one device appears on the others.
  • Google Calendar (only if you connect it): your Google email address, OAuth tokens, and the events of the connected calendar.

How we use Google user data

When you connect Google Calendar, Pirenage requests access to your email address and to Google Calendar. It uses this access only to:

  • show the events of your calendar in your Pirenage schedule;
  • create, update and delete the events and task deadlines you add or change in Pirenage, in your calendar.

Google user data is not used for advertising, is not sold, and is not shared with anyone else. It is not used to train AI or machine learning models. No person reads it, unless you ask for support and agree to it, or the law requires it.

Pirenage's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time in the app or at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Disconnecting deletes the stored Google tokens from our server; events that were already imported stay in your Pirenage schedule until you delete them.

Receipt scanning

When you scan a receipt or a payment screenshot, the image is sent to an AI model to read the amount, date and merchant. The image is not stored by Pirenage; only the transaction you confirm is saved.

Sharing

We do not sell or share your data. It is processed only by the services needed to run Pirenage: our server host, Expo push notifications, Google (if you connect Calendar) and the AI provider for receipt scanning.

Security and retention

Data is sent over HTTPS. Google tokens are stored encrypted. Your data is kept while your account exists; deleted notes are removed for good after 30 days.

Your choices

You can edit or delete your content in the apps at any time. To delete your account and all of its data, send a request through the contact page.
